Coming of the announcement yesterday that the new Motorola XOOM would come with 4G LTE, Verizon Wireless has today announced it will offer the first 4G-capable version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab too. The new Galaxy Tab will feature 4G LTE connectivity, a more powerful 1.2GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor and a new 5 MP rear-facing camera and although the front-facing camera is still a 1.3MP model.
The rest of the Samsung Galaxy Tab’s specifications will remain the same. The tablet will have a 1.3 MP front-facing camera (the tablet has dual cameras), a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600 resolution) capacitive multi-touch LCD, Android 2.2 Froyo OS and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support.
